Who are we?
"...Sisters of Jesus Good Shepherd" [Pastorelle]. This name is for us a remembrance of Christ who died and rose again so as to gather together in unity the scattered children of God, and is an entreaty to live in communion with him at the service of his kingdom" (Rule of Life 4).
The person of Jesus Good
Shepherd is the centre of our whole life.
He is loved and lived by us
as the Way, the Truth and the Life,
the fullness of revelation and salvation
the reconciler of the whole universe,
as he was preached and lived
by the Apostle Paul (Rule of Life 7).
We pray:
Jesus you are the Good Shepherd who is always mindful of your Church.
Watch over those who are baptised in your name and grant peace and harmony to all families.
We ask you to choose from the families of our parish many priests, deacons, sisters
and brothers who will gladly spend their lives making you known and loved. Amen.
